    That's my hunch, either that or maybe they needed it to get in reverse. Either way it was related to someone not knowing how to properly adjust it I guess.
    Anyway, I have it adjusted perfect, no rattle

    No need to yank a shifter all that does is throw your body's balance off. it's a finesse thing.
    I bench press well over 300lbs and I never broke a shifter
    Lets get that guy some driving lessons LOL
    :)

    This makes sense. It didn't really make sense than an untouched lever would break.
