Not if you land anywhere between 6AM and 6PM it's not!.....unless you're landing a chopper on his roof...
Any FD that has a "zero" as the second number is a PC-24. I saw it go overhead today as I was playing golf at North Adelaide. Such a shame that after being in Brisbane last week I'm cleared to move around the community as normal but I have to have two weeks off work as it is a "high risk" environment... Eh? As far as I know the SA / QLD border is pretty much open. I flew back on Friday and was able to come straight home. I had a Chinavirus test at the airport and had to isolate at home until I got the first negative result (which came through 0730 Saturday morning). The reason I have to have two weeks off work is because RFDS is a "high risk" workplace. Nothing to do with QLD.
It’s a shame you can’t work for 2 weeks, but playing golf in weather like that certainly is a nice way to wait it out
So the SA Ferrari members can return to SA without doing two weeks in hotel isolation ? OK, if that's true then it is WA that are dickheads
I don’t want to speak for the SA government, but our border is effectively open to QLD. Today marked 28 days without any community transmission here. Now, whether or not we can drive through NSW on the way to or from QLD without restriction may be another matter.
I cant wait to the the right side of V1 in a couple of hours…The CLINTS down here are worse than the CCP….
SA says 14 days quarantine if returning from parts of Qld ( Brisbane & GC) https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/restrictions-and-responsibilities/travel-restrictions/sa-border-restrictions
WA has to quarantine on return from Qld as well https://www.wa.gov.au/organisation/covid-communications/covid-19-coronavirus-controlled-border
Not true, Mike. Those are the same (level three) restrictions that I returned home to on Friday. What they mean is that returning SA residents must self isolate at home until receiving their first negative result. I got tested at the airport as I left and drove myself home, and stayed away from Chloe until I got the text the next morning at 0730. From that time I have been free to move around as normal except I must stay away from “high risk” settings, which is why I can’t return to work. I also have to be tested on day five (did that today on the way to golf) and again on day 13. There is no “quarantine” requirement. Now, as I said, that is for people flying home. Don’t know if it’s different for people driving here.
As above - Not shore about the driving part. Thanks for asking, JM. Luckily dad didn’t want a funeral. My brother and I had a fair bit of stuff to go though, and there was a lovely family “wake” for him held on Thursday. Amazing what you find out and the stories you hear when it’s too late to laugh with him about them. I did collect some wonderful photos and newspaper articles as well as some private letters from notable motorbike people to him. All things considered we feel we got lucky that we could get up there and back without too much drama. Other people haven’t been so fortunate.
Glad all went well Friend of mine had to watch her partner of 23 years be buried by zoom Had a bit of a cry over the phone but thanks to my trade (networking) she got to say goodbye and see him buried This covid has buggered a lot of people
