First assumptions based on what im told by my sales person is end of calendar year 2022 will be the last of f8 spider. If this is true didnt the f8 spider get released as a model year 2021? or was it 2020?

so in total how many model years will there be a f8 spider? 20/21/22/23? or less?

Unveiled September 2019 and in production shortly thereafter as a 2020 model. All indications are that production stops next year so approx a 3 year run. It was suppose to be a stop gap filler for the 488 series and the next series.

When does model year 2022 actually begin?
My F8 Spider should be built mid/end September.

We just received three cars from the factory last week and they were 2022 models and that was before the August holiday ended. I believe many other dealers are seeing the same thing now.

I am guessing with the strong demand for the f8 spider order book (not sure how many more orders they will take ) the production could run til late 2022 so perhaps there will be a 2023 MY? if so 4 year cycle? if so the number of f8 spiders produced could be more "normal"?

I believe the actual week of the change is week 27, and that is July. It has become a habit of saying after the August holiday as that is easy to get across. Usually if you say "It changes in week 27" the following question is "Why?".

488 ran from 2015-2019. It’s Anyone’s guess as to final production numbers.

Seeing that no special edition has been announced yet, I'd guess there's probably still another few years. of the base F8/spider.

Spoke to my dealer yesterday, the F8 spider will see an $8,500 price increase in October. Base only, options pricing will remain unchanged. So consider yourselves lucky if you fell under that radar.

Demand has ticked up for a number of reasons, including the intro of the 296. I suppose once everyone discovers how ‘fun’ the new platform is, and accepts it, mass migration will start in earnest. I’m not ruling one out in the future.

So…..Currently number one in line for spec submission once the factory reopens, so there should be progress shortly.

Still enthused about receiving the F8 despite keeping the 458 and also getting a STO in November. I placed my order in early January of this year.

No idea how many they’ll build other than they will eventually have to shift production out of the TT platform.

For the USA, the importer, FNA sets the model year...(because they set the VIN and the VIN includes the model year, the factory only sets the Chassis Number)

Im surprised of an only 10 k increase.

Raw materials and shipping has gone through the roof.

Containers that were only $800 to $1200 are now in excess of $8000. Ive been quoted over $15,000 out of the USA.

Ferrari does a lot of shipping, they probably have a fixed price contract...and their containers never leave the port area, they are unloaded and put back on the original vessel. The container issue is when they leave the port for a far away destination but there is not enough return traffic to make it back to the port...

Its not just the container itself as to the sparsity , its actually getting on a ship which is the cost that's going up. So when people say a container its actually the freight.

Yesterday we saw quotes right up to $23,000 out of India. Out of the USA they are $12,000 . Thats increases of over 400%
