Is there an accurate 1/18 F40 LM in red yet? Looksmart hasn't released theirs for many years now after announcing and it was the only accurate one I've seen minus the Davis & Giovanni I can't find anywhere.

I hope so too. I emailed them in July to check on their F40 LMs and the response was there was still no date or plan for production. Disappointing since the website says "Q4 2019" for availability. Same with the BBR F40 LM. It's been "pre-order now" for almost 2 years I think. I know covid has affected many plans, but I wish they would update their websites with realistic timelines.

I think it will suffer from CMC usual problems...lots of detail but off scale...

I was told this by the guy where I buy almost all my models. I assume he has credible info but of course he could be wrong too.

What's up with CMC wire wheels? They get worse with every new model. The 250 TR was fine, the street SWB OK but it went downhill from there.

I realize that is an early sample photo so I’ll really reserve final judgement, criticisms and positive comments until I see a final production model. With that said, I do see a number of concerning issues. Based on their so-so track record, I am sure that CMC will screw up something on this, just as they have with every single sports car and sports racer they have made models of.

The overall shape of the car is off. On their 250 GTO they messed up the nose. Now this 275 has a hunchback. And the wheels..... At this price point this should be unacceptable.

Also, the nose looks too sharply tapered in side view.
