Was wondering if anyone is repopping these?
I looked on Verell's site and didn't see them unless I missed it.
Maybe 3D print or cast if anyone wants to take it on or has a connection?

This is the first time I've seen these clips. I've had to adjust my cables a few times over the years and those clips are missing on my '78.
What purpose do they serve? Could the cable actually jump off the spool without them?

The clips are used when you need to pull the spool out of the car, and not have the cable fly off everywhere.

You don't leave them on the spool for normal use, because they will prevent the spool from rotating freely and the window grinds to a halt.

Since Brian -Rifledriver- mentioned in another thread about this clip, that the T-handle is hard to grab -I think maybe on a testarossa?, because I cannot agree regarding the 308, I just tried the following. This is the great thing with 3D-printing. Easy refinement or modification of a part.
So I made one clip with a T-handle 10mm longer. Perhaps this is better to handle on the testarossa with its bigger doors? Maybe Brian can give a statement?

Yes i saw it, it’s the best video about fixing slow 308 windows, in fact it’s the only video that shows step by step procedure on how to tackle it.

Oh yeah. And they deleted my comment in which I offered them my clips instead of using that clamp.

    Save your breath Martin.
The clip is way better but people don't want to listen.
I've come on these slow window fix threads myself pleading with people not to waste their time with taking the old stuff apart when the new generation motors and regulators are WAY superior even beyond how the windows worked when the cars were brand new. We are talking C3 Corvette levels of fast on the up/down operation!
But people don't want to hear it so I just shut up now. Aaron Bunch gets it and backs me up. He has put them in and knows what's up.
Just watched the end result in the video being mentioned above and it is still pathetically slow compared to the units I'm talking about.

I made a leash using safety wire on the original clip so I can easily pull it off with pliers after install the motor/cable.

Thanks for the heads up. Haven't watched till the end. And yes, it's even slower than mine after simply cleaning the switches (the gear innards I cleaned and relubricated 20 years ago for the last time). Maybe I make a video myself.

Yeah, that's espcially important this year. But honestly said, it always disappoints me, when trying to help and getting discarded for spam.

BTW 2:, your clips ship today. They are inside this collective shipment to the german USPS branch where they get distributed.

Thank you for the clips Martin.
I will look forward to receiving them.
I also ordered some from Cassidy and will let you know the flexibility difference with the carbon strand.
Honestly I have done many window jobs on many of the cable operated Ferrari models and it is certainly disappointing to go through all that work for mediocre results and I feel hard to justify charging a customer for time spent only to see a somewhat better operation.
On the other hand, as a 308 owner, I share the sentiment of why should I have to put up with slow windows and settle for that's just the way it is with these cars?
That's why I just recommend to install the entire new design units and be done with it and move on with your life.:D

@greg288: yes, PLEASE post your source(s) for new-generation motors and regulators. I currently have mine under repair (308QV Euro) and would really appreciate knowing what works best ahead of time.

    Thanks for the link Greg.
Do these New units bolt right up? Or is there some custom fabrication that needs to take place?
    Thanks again!

    Plug and play bolt in.
You do need to crimp or solder a couple electrical connectors onto the bare wires to mate to your factory wires.
