Remember… a kit comes with everything. Stainless steel lines, pads etc… I can’t imsgine there’d be much savings piecing your own kit. Now if I had to pay the $2500 fee on my own… damn right Im gonna try and piece something together.
Going to draw up some brackets and punch out an STL file for the rapid prototype thingy in a couple weeks. Need to start the process. Im going with OEM brembos from another car maker that have better heat dissipation Hmmm Hmmm MOPAR LOL
Got word back from Movit. Their F355 was running 370x35mm rotors all around. They no longer sell the kit.
Also fwiw I talked to Movit a few years back and they said they could build a 380mm ceramic system for approx 23k.
Update: Some new numbers if one is looking to piece together his own kit. https://www.superformance.co.uk/355/performance.html New Brembo 355x32mm rotors - $475/rotor x4 New Brembo Hat hardware - $90/rotor x4 Superformance version of 355 challenge hats- $400/each x 4 Hill Engineering 355 challenge brackets - $275/each x 4 Total = $4960 We're still missing Brembo F50 calipers, stainless steel lines, and pads. In short, it's significantly more costly to piece together your own kit.
Found a rare pic of Brembo 4-pot GT’s all around with what looks to be 355mm rotors on standard wheels. Happens to be on a Cornes 20th anniversary edition as well . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Stoptech is a fantastic brake kit. It is balanced and the stopping power is epic. The calipers are lightweight and I know they don't have the Ferrari logo but still look fantastic. The performance really is stunning. Get something that has been tested and you know works rather than trying to piece together parts to make your own kit. You need to make sure there is balance front to rear and Stoptech has done that with specific piston sizes. Your Absolutely correct, the rear rotors are 10mm larger than the front, however I believe this was a requirement to help cool the rear rotors. The cast iron park brake drum diameter restricts air entering for disc. cooling. In fact thats why I engineered my brake system, I basically cracked a couple of rear discs on the race track, fronts didn't fail. Keep front and rear rotors, callipers and pads the same, and I guarantee your system will be balanced.
You can get the front and rear for 3600 total? I just ordered the rear alone for 2700. Let me know if you can get all 4 for 3600 I will cancel my order and place one with your supplier.
There are sensible cost packages out there if owners want to do their own groundwork for a 355 brake upgrade. We went the 330mm route simply for ease of wheel clearance. Ours was Brembo 456 front rotors, something like £150 a pair. Brembo Big Red copy calipers (identical in every respect to the originals, £350 a a pair), slightly modified Porsche brackets, £90. Plenty of quality pad options for these calipers. Rears, again genuine Brembo 550 rotors with integral parking brake drums to fit the existing 355 set up. These needed a light skim of the lip of the drum edge inside, to seat them nicely. easily done, then the original 355 Brembo front calipers can be used on the rear, from memory 28mm wide instead of 22mm?. They just bolt on, no adapters needed. Stainless braided brake lines can be made up by any local hydraulic hose company for not a lot of money. Pretty much all plug and play, no adverse effect on the original abs or parking brakes. Ok the rotors are slightly heavier being one piece (but no real difference from the original set up) but again these could be substituted with equivalent 2 piece options for those cars I listed, for not a great deal more cost, braking ability is no better with two piece in reality, and only a driving god would make best use of the slightly lower unsprung mass. Of course if budget is not an issue then bling always triumphs over bland.
Found some pics of the set up I mentioned. 330mm by 32mm fronts and 330 by 28mm rears Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

@OCKlasse If you noticed, he shaved the lines for a smooth look. Looks funny to me . He did put in a ton of work to paint and re-logo them. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
