Removing the black paint on the wheels was a good decison: the full black livery was likely to deter buyers.
I thought the black wheels were interesting. They really changed the look of the car. I could see how they could turn off a traditionalist.
It's a car that looks quite well sorted out, but there are livery that looks good "in person" but are not the best for an online listing (full black makes the car very hard to shoot). The modifications were not sacrilegious and easy to revert, so the seller did well to touch-up the car for the best selling price. To be honest I would have chosen another shade of black. For instance the black varnish on the aluminium trims and the front grill emblem was nicely done, that's probably what I would have done for the rims and the door handles.
