Did Chinetti use personalized license plate frames back in the day?

Curious to see if anyone has seen or has one they can post?

By personalized do you mean dealer frames?

I’ve seen some on eBay that are pretty obviously new knock offs of Chinetti frames.

I have these frames Ed. I purchased the chrome frames from an eBay seller who represented them as NOS. They are not, the seller posts a lot of fake swag--dealer signs especially with intentionally vague/misleading descriptions(BTW the sign in my avatar is an original) . I don't really know if Chinetti ever supplied frames in period. The black frame is from the 1970s and it is authentic, I bought it from the late Harold T. C. Angel.

I’d love to have one of those Greenwich frames if anybody has one to part with.

yes dealer frames as shown above is what i was asking......i thought it would be cool to have one for the 58 ellena.

now i dont know if they supplied these at that period, my car is a USA car, first owner lived in NYC, and i can only assume Chinetti was the selling dealer.

If you can tolerate one of the replicas you can have mine for less than I paid.....although I can’t remember exactly how much that was.

I have a set of Cross pens from the Harold Angel collection, what a man!!

You would THINK they would knock off the right one!
Although he did have two locations over the years???

Need some period showroom photos to confirm, or maybe ask Jim G.

Well, it’s been a couple of years. Give me a few days to look around for it.

I’m still interested in a Greenwich frame if anybody’s selling.
