Last weekend the 10th Anniversary of the renowned Passione Engadina took place in and around St. Moritz, Switzerland. Perfectly organised by enthusiastic Paolone Spalluto and his incredible team, about 140 classic cars including 70 Ferraris old and new participated in this legendary 3-day event. The charming organizer Paolone Spalluto once again managed an outstanding meeting which also attracted thousands of spectators along the roads. Drivers did two tours, one being around 200 kms for the classic cars and the other for the newer cars about 300 kms of mountain roads and several passes, even going through a piece of nearby Italy. The weather was refreshing and unusually kool but OK and there were zero mishaps or accidents noted. Even the Italian and Swiss police authorities co-operated and created no hassles. And that is really, really a rarity. Thanks to everybody.

Looks like the weather, not mention mountain scenery, was just about perfect for extended drives.
Were the driving routes busy with other traffic or were there sections where cars could be driven “spiritedly” at any length ?

Weather was mixed... it rained in between both during the tour on Saturday and the Concours on Sunday.
Traffic was a problem as the Splügenpass is very narrow and a lot of serpentines where upcoming traffic meant stop and go with driving back and forth when facing upcoming traffic. Later it was better but apparently this was the last summer holiday weekend for some canton in Switzerland so a lot of cars on their way home.
Problem are also Germans from the north part and Dutch who are not used to drive mountains, so one could smell the brakes of the traffic on its way down and clutch from the classics on their way up....

Well, I did chase Comp Daytona #14429 for a while, on the way from Bivio up to the Julier pass, and it was serious fun. On the other hand, I prefer not to loose my driver's licence so I (mostly) behaved.

Gentlemen, thank you both for these “action” reports !

While photos from any & all (static) displays/shows are appreciated, I’m personally more interested in (vintage GT) cars being driven/used, especially in a fashion they were (originally) designed & intended for.

Hopefully her modeling contract included high elevation + low temperature bonuses, as it looks like she's not enjoying the gig very much.
