It appears this car MAY have been federalized in same shop as my car; it was done in NYC. Reason: it has the supplementary air pump mounted in same location as mine WAS, the PS Fluid reservoir remounted to radiator to make room for the air pump, and the same little "bridge" in the front of the "V" for the air pump control. It looks like dual cats are still in place on both exhausts.

    Good day Brian,

    As requested :) adding doc...

Although BCC has an "interesting" reputation, this car look in reasonable condition... and with the 5 speed transmission makes it quite rare and desirable.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Thanks Sam, you always do such a good job on these.

Jim, I also like the cream/blue, but I think the dash would look better black. Still, minor niggle for most.

I think from a practical standpoint the black would work better. I’d imagine the current color of the dash is going to cause some major reflections on the windshield.

I have a tan dash on my car, and while there is some glare, I don't find it worse than my black dash on the daily driver (Avalon).

Looks amazing! Blu Chiaro really suits these cars, but I am biased. ;)

I wonder if it is CA BAR legal?

I went to look at this car in person, and while the color combination is great, the car itself is hiding a large number of issues/problems. For one, the seller had the front seats cheaply spray painted to hide wear/decay. More concerning, the car sat for some time in Hawaii where it became infested with rodents (see repair receipts) and the carpeting was either shampooed or replaced completely. The fuel lines were all rotten and had to be replaced as well, among a long list of other things. The exhaust is low-grade quality and hiding some rust, and there is also some damage to the RF where the bumper is crooked and haphazardly stuck in place with dual-side tape. There's also a number of non-OEM pieces like the shifter knob, rear bumper and others.

They couldn't get the car to run which was concerning to me, stating it was "probably the battery" despite when hooked up to a jump showed 13.1 volts... other greivances like malfunctioning power windows, headlamps and electronic trunk opener caught me off-guard as well. It seems to me that at this price all these issues should be sorted out? Seemed much more like a "fixer" to me than mechanically sound as they claim.

    Just my two cents.

    Thanks for the report!

This being said, the shifter looks quite stock to me(?)

Thanks - and welcome John! Fantastic first post!

Doesn’t look stock at all… to my knowledge, none were chrome as in this car.

This car's shift knob is easily rectified though.

Hi John, how have you been?

The Fiat one is close but the factory Ferrari knob doesn’t have the white lines.

I didn’t notice the lines. I’m slipping in my old age. Good catch.
