The F8 Tributo has a single center muffler downstream and independent of cats and filters.

The GPF's are actually attached to the center muffler, while you could separate them, it would require you do cutaway the factory system.

Here is an image of stock vs. our replacement

Just referring to swapping out center muffler bypass which is described on FaBspeed site as a bolt on. No?

If you're doing the center muffler bypass, it is just a bolt-on and will not affect the GPFs.

The full rear muffler replacement requires GPF removal.

Luckily were I track …all tracks in the southern USA do not have any noise ordinance….be as loud as you want. Same on the street here in the USA or at least any of the states I am around. There are cars, motorcycles…even car stereos that are ear bleeding loud. My friend has a straight pipe no cats no muffler Aventador….it’s insane!

2 of my friends just got F8’s. 1 is doing IPE down pipes (cat and GPF) delete and a tune. He doesn’t care about warranty. The other guy is going to see how his exhaust mods go and decide who/what to go with. These guys keep cars about 6 month and trade or sell them.

I’ve heard the F8 in person a lot now and it’s an horrible sounding car especially for an exotic car. I want an F8…rather have a Pista but…$$$…. I will have to do something to make it sound better but I can’t afford no to have a warranty and that has held me back to order one.

My dealer says unfortunately you touch anything on the F8…or any new Ferrari and you will void the warranty. Head of service got back from a Ferrari USA tech seminar and we were discussing this….Ferrari will not discuss any further…car has changes from stock…warranty is no longer any good.

What’s the sound difference if any?

I would imagine that it would be pretty Pista-like if the OE cats remain in place.

Aren't you a regular on Laguna Seca? Last I heard, they had introduced a 92 limit for trackdays. Or is that in other situations?

Still varies by the dealership, some will play some won’t at all. Just had my annual service, only thing that got serviced was my pollen filter..lol. Not much value in the “Free seven year maintenance “

If I change my exhaust, I probably won’t bring the car back for annual service either so my car does not get flagged for voided warranty. I’m assuming if FNA voids your warranty, you lose the 7 year maintenance too? Oh well…
