REALLY cool video! Thanks for sharing.

How exactly do you do that??? I'd be interested in doing something similar.

Is the pole eliminated in the camera, or editing?

Super cool. Which model camera? I was looking for a reasonably priced 360 camera to mess around with but none of the cheaper ones had an external mic input.

Cool, but how is it a drone can keep up with a Ferrari?

I'm trying to figure this out myself. Sounds like 360 camera with elongated selfie stick attached to car with suction. Saw something nearly identical on Youtube.

You see the shadow of the stick at ~17 sec., and again at ~30 sec. The shadow on the car itself (at the back of the engine glass, you can also see the dual suction-cup mounts) indicates a support that would move the primary pole fore/aft, accounting for the "drone-like" drifting POV.
Neat system, whatever it is. I'm still curious about the visual removal of the stick itself.

This is a 360 camera. The software for the camera automatically removes the stick. It can't take out the larger mounts. I tried one mount but the leverage on the extended stick at an angle made the ball joint mount slip and eventually the stick fell off. So use a supporting mount on the stick. You can't take out the shadow but to me it's minor. If you pick a cloudy day there's little to no shadow cast so there's that.
This is the early stages of learning the camera. I have two and this one has two microphones which didn't record the sound as I wanted. The other camera has a way of adding an external microphone. My next video I will run microphones where you will see wires down closer to the exhaust. There is a possibility of getting a microphone that is wireless and avoiding wires too.

here is some footage inside the car with a 360 camera

Here is a video mashup of a car drive I organized here in Atlanta. Most is with the 360 camera but a little is with the drone. I'm in the camera car which is the blue Mclaren

Is the stick a specific color ("greenscreen" effect) to facilitate this?

The in-car vid raises another question: Since there is no-one else in the car with you to control it, is the camera movement preprogrammed, or random?

the stick can probably be any color, but in this case all the sticks tend to be black.
the footage is 360 degrees. as you edit you can choose the view you want and export it as such

I used 2 cameras one inside and one outside. Insta360 One R and Insta360 One X2. Either will work
