Yes. Acer Racing. Affordable titanium. Black is an option.

Correct, the factory ones are steel with chrome plating. Basically what Ferrari has been using for the last 50 odd years.

I might be doing a run of Titanium bolts next year. Here is an example of some black PVD Titanium bolts I had made recently (as well as a set in raw Titanium). I'm discussing with the factory I use overseas regarding running off around 1000 bolts next year (800 bolts in raw + 200 bolts in black PVD). If you are interested, I can keep you in the loop. I'm trying to get the cost down to around $599 per set or so.

Most of the Titanium stuff you see on eBay or online is decent enough quality. There is always some variation in quality. The main thing is to ensure thread major diameter tolerances are held to certain standards and you generally want hot forged threads and heads, etc. Like anything else, it's the finer details that matter the most.

Feel free to PM me if you are interested in a set of the ones I'm planning on producing next year. They are very high quality and as nice, if not nicer, than the ones Ferrari sells. The Ferrari OEM ones are really nice as well and I've had those on my cars over the years. They are made by a company out of Italy last time I checked. I don't believe there is a lot of production in the USA when it comes to Titanium lug bolts.

That's a good example of nice bolts, which are probably good quality. I prefer the captive washer design myself, but either work fine. Anything is an improvement over the OEM chrome jobs that Ferrari uses.

#1 Are the titanium unfinished bolts everyone has gunmetal- ish in color?

If so, they look so good with gunmetal colored wheels.

#2 Off topic,. It I may have to powder coat my wheels. Is there just one shade of gunmetal when you powder coat? Or is there a shade that is more OEM from Ferrari I should be matching?

Anyone know the color of that shade?

Replacing the chrome bolts is a must, personally I do not know how and why Ferrari is still shipping cars with these bolts. I have titanium on my car, love them. The car just dose not look exotic with bolts from a mini van.

I like the captive washer design better, too. Interesting that the same company makes that design in sizes for Porsches (I have a set on my 991 turbo) but not Ferraris.

Those look really good. Titanium unfinished seem way less expensive than black.

Is it true that titanium bolts that are not finished are more of a grey color? I think it matches those wheels better than black
