You're satisfied with their work? I have a set of 308 wheels that I like to refurbish.

Yes. More impressed with how they are when a problem occurs. They totally stand behind their work. They are reshooting my wheels as imwrite this due a problem. They did not hesitate for a second to make it right. Tell him Fred with the yellow 488 sent you. There are thousands of colors and he will know to sow you the ones close to the Ferrari shades. Basically, you don't want to pick a color that requires a clear coat.

Hey DiamondDog, if you happen to remember as I know this is a few years old - but do you know what color you chose for your wheels? I think that is exactly what I may be looking for.

Be very careful in powder coating alloy or mag wheels, as powder coating produces hydrogen embrittlement. In the aircraft world, powder coating IS NOT allowed to be done on aluminum or alloy wheels for that very reason.

I have the ball polished F430 5 spoke wheels. Are those considered alloy or mag wheels?

How do wheels get painted in the factory OEM?

    Is it not Powder coating?

Reading up on this....So by no means an expert. It states Hydrogen embrittlement occurs at room temp and is stable at 150 degrees Celsius. (What is Hydrogen Embrittlement? - Causes, Effects and Prevention - TWI (twi-global.com)) Way hotter than powder coating temps which is about 93 degrees Celsius. Maybe I am not interpreting this correctly...

HRE which is a reputable wheel brand powder coats their wheels.

However, it think if I tracked my car or slamming my car onto a runway, I would not powder coat. I haven't had any issues so far,
