Go to Bal Harbour Shops or drive around N Miami Beach and Aventura. They're not super common but you'll see them.

Here in London I’d have to say it’s 99.9% positive. As long as you aren’t screaming the engine people love the car and I always smile when I hear a kid scream excitedly “Ferrareeeeeee” to their parents. Isn’t that what you did as a kid? On Ferrari meets we let the kids sit in the car (although a friends kid did manage to red line the engine when his little feet found the accelerator - which added a decade of ageing to my life).

So I echo what was said earlier - be a brand ambassador and remember the inner little kid. You will make their day.

Oh and I never fall for the inevitable “Rev it” call. Ok maybe just once - to a lady bus driver who was just so excited and pulled up on the other side of the road to shout it out.

I always give a rev request just no racing of the inevitable corvettes and mustangs. Even the F8 sounds sexy.
I’m laughing because I had a kid slam on the gas when I let him sit in it. I almost vomited

At a recent car event, the owner let a kid start the car. He immediately revved the cold engine to redline, foot to the floor, and it sent a rod through the block, the explosion shattering the rear glass!

Why would anyone let someone sit in the car with the engine on?
I always let kids/enthusiasts sit in my cars, but NEVER with the engine running
Seems like a recipe for disaster

I have an F12 in Rosso Fuoco and hardly anyone notices which is fine with me. I’ve had the car for a little over 3 months. For those that do notice always notice on how good the color looks.

I’m in Charlotte NC so there’s a ton of Huracan’s around and quite a few McLarens and those seem to be the ones that garner attention.

Aside from Mustang’s and Vettes always trying to race me I’ve enjoyed the car without any headaches so far.

If a parent asks if their child can sit in the car I say, “Sure, just make sure he/she doesn’t touch any of the guns.” :)

Generally speaking, all my encounters are positive. I did have an interesting bad encounter in the 812,GTS two days ago. Was doing a trip with a buddy just for lunch and fun, and along the way we stopped for fuel. I'm 41 and my buddy is 39. We were not dressed like hoodlums or the like. I was in a polo shirt, shorts and cap, so no tattoos showing. My buddy was pretty much the same. Anyhow, we pull in to fuel and while I'm busy filling up, a guy about my age comes up and opens with a "Nice car. What model is it?". I proceed to smile and answer his question. Next thing I know, we are accused of being criminals. In his tiny mind, nobody could own a car like that and be legit. He told me straight to my face that I was either into serious tax evasion or into some kind of scam. For a second I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. He walked back to his car and proceeded to berate us about noise and the environment. We had entered the station with no music and calmly, so it wasn't because we were showing off.

Shortly before we were to pull out, I saw he was at the adjacent pump talking on his phone. Needless to say that I couldn't help giving the car a few good revs.

It's interesting about the 812. Never gotten any attention in an 812 SF, but the 812 GTS is nuts. More attention than I have experienced with a Pista, Pista Spider, and 488 Spider. People are all over it. Lots of fun:)

I live on the West Wales UK coast where Ferraris are a rare sight and do get a LOT of attention in my Rosso Fuoco 812SF. I don't mind it as long as I don't get recognized although its pretty much 100% positive. Driving last Sunday afternoon with my daughter through a popular seaside resort town a woman nearly tripped over a pavement step when she saw us.

Well, we made it to Swansea (and Mumbles), St. Davids and St. Ives, among others, but I’m not sure I’d want to try my luck navigating any type of Ferrari on those roads! Beautiful? No doubt…….

I live on the West coast which is about 60 miles from Swansea, where the roads are brilliant and Autocar and EVO magazines come to test Supercars. Mumbles is a different world where Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have a home. Its our version of Malibu and Ferraris, Lambos even Bugattis are common place.
Next time head north through Mid Wales and you will experience some of the world's greatest driving roads.

It’s funny, 5 years ago Mustangs and Corvettes would always try to run me. Now it’s the Tesla douches who try to show off. I always ignore them.

    Dear god.

What was the repair bill on this one? I’m guessing this must have been an insurance claim.

Probably making up time for the supercar douches they have encountered over the years, LOL.
