This alert showed up in my email this morning. Of course, there's a catch - the old "salvage title bargain." I made my F12 purchase months ago, so I'm not even remotely interested, but back in Jan '21 came across another listing where the current owner showed pictures of what genuinely appeared to be relatively minor damage on an F12 previously owned by an attorney that allegedly convinced his insurance company to write it off so he could collect a full payout.

It wasn't a color that I was looking for, but an intriguing thought that prompted me to solicit Sports Car Market's John Draneas Legal Files for his thoughts on salvage titles (attached for anyone that's interested). Mr. Draneas also wrote an excellent article on "diminished value" which really stuck with me and reinforced my view that just having a Carfax with an accident record is a huge negative, not to mention salvage titles, which I would not touch with the proverbial 10' pole.

So for any of you bargain hunters out there, here you go > https://tinyurl.com/ybvcb7x2

They only show a busted door for salvage. I guarantee there was more than that for it to be salvaged

Thats probably $100K+ in damage on a Ferrari. I do have someone that can repair perfectly if the price was right. Would be a great car for my wife to beat up.

Edit: just saw the ask, way overpriced. I would do it for about $70K.

wow if they lowered price yeah could be a great deal! it'll always have salvage - rebuilt title so under 100k for sure but would be a great beater/daily driver or even track car if there was no structural dmg

130k seem little high. all fixed salvage f12 probably go for 130-150k.
