He beat Bottas in quali at Spa, and his race pace is usually on par with Bottas. Yes, he needs to be much more consistent in quali. Let's hope last weekend's Q1 performance was an outlier.

O really...so he understands death at that age, claims to be Senna's number 1 fan, and yet can't remember the years was WDC. Good grief indeed...

Rosberg already permanently tarnished Lewis' legacy and proved the results belong to the team and car, not the driver. That's a fact and there is no way around it.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. However, what you’ve posited is mere opinion, not incontrovertible fact.

Thé fact that Max didn’t even check on LH after the accident shows he is equally an hypocrite as Lewis is (if you are on the LH is a hypocrite bandwagon).
    Litteraly could have killed him.
Racing incident they say. I’m convinced Max wasn’t gonna let him by and came for payback.
His : that’s what you get when you don’t leave the space , to ME, clearly show his intend.
Max Has had superb driving this season it must be said but I stick by my impression that he will either hurt or get hurt one day . I have thought that since his rookie season, doesn’t get anything away from his talents but I commend other drivers for never hitting him.

Yeah… saw this coming from a mile away. That’s just who he has always been… win at all costs.
I should love him as I love his speed, loved senna…but no
Let’s see what happens next race.

Just about every complaint lodged against Hamilton after the Silverstone accident was mirrored by Max today. Pot meet kettle.

Also dangerous was Ham trying to reverse his car back on track with a car on top.

    A danger to others.

U are stretching, the danger here is Max’s wheel almost killing the dude. Not even a debate.
Now even if that’s a racing incident the dude behaved exactly like he blamed Hamilton for in England. Again carbon copy.
Max has more of those incidents over the course of his career than Lewis in now 14 years.
This year he has been really composed. It must be said and Hamilton hasn’t.

No driver on earth could calculate how that sausage kerb would launch on a particular trajectory at any particular speed.
It's a freak consequence of current F1 design and fortunately for Ham this era has Halo.

Damon Hill made an asinine suggestion the Max intentionally took out Ham to protect his pts lead.

Agreed, Damon Hill is wrong with all due respect. Yes he's an F1 driver and I'm not but to say Max intentionally took out Lewis to protect his points lead is "unbecoming" of Damon Hill.

    I'll leave it at that.

I honestly don't think so. Hill is trying to fulfill his "narrative" without dissecting the overall incident.

I do not believe that Hill worded his thoughts correctly and he seemed to stumble to explain his thinking. What I understood from his words was closer to what Toto Wolff articulated better when he considered the move a tactical foul. Not an intentional act but one where the onus is strongly in the favor of the other driver to avoid an accident. I am inclined to see it in that fashion.

Either way Max has been in far too many circumstances where he creates a situation that requires another driver to yield in order to avoid an accident. I find it amazing that Max has been able to get away with it as much as he has. Had Hamilton behaved a fraction as uncompromising as Max then the haters would have had an absolute field day.

Further proof that not all drivers are judged without bias.

By virtue of getting lapped several times each race and bringing out the safety car, he factors more in the outcome at the front than, say, Perez.
