    After some thinking through my choices, I am putting up my 348 Challenge for sale. I would like to have it go to another Fchatter so it is listed here first. If that does not work out, BAT will be next.

    The car is a 1994 348TB, in Modena Yellow. It is number 6 of 32 cars manufactured for that year. I have owned it for 10 years and bought it from an owner who had it for 11 years before that. I do not have any details from owner(s) before the two of us. It is my belief that the car was fully race-prepped for the first year of its life but did not attend any races and was converted for street duty before it was sold to the first owner.

    Mileage: 41,835 miles
    Last engine out service was March 2020 at 40,700 miles, done by a capable mechanic
    The car comes with Grey Ferrari Challenge light weight wheels, no fakes, no rashes.
    It currently has Challenge by-pass pipes, and the 348 cat converters are included. It does pass SMOG every two years with the cats installed.
    The car has all Challenge documentation from the factory (rare)
    It comes with period correct OMP racing seats, OMP racing harnesses.
    Full tool kit, and tow hooks are included, as is a red indoor car cover.
    Engine is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically.
    Body is straight, the front bumper, fenders and hood have been repainted (well matched color) because of road rash that caused rocks kicked up from its maiden FOG drive years ago. Since then, the nose has a clear bra installed to keep the road rash away.
    No stickies, all cleaned up years ago.

    It DOES NOT have: roll cage, carbon seats

    The 348 Challenge is the one that started the Ferrari Challenge series. This car is the real thing and an unmolested piece of Ferrari history. Frankly, if it does not sell, I am happy to own it for another ten years. It is that special.

    What a fine example.....you didn't try to have FNA come up with the "early years?"
    This would be the highlight of any gathering among the 348s.

    I well recall watching them "wreck a few" at Texas World Speedway, as "gentlemen drivers" learned that Aramco is non negotiable.

    I think 348s perhaps pre dated the now widespread use of carbon fiber...what are those seat shells?
    Some type of fibreglass??

    Deleted the roll cage would have been part of the conversion back the street as State Law prevents them in a lot of jurisdictions.
    It was a crappy roll bat anyway!!!

    It's your car and you must feel that it's time to part ways. So do what you want. All I'll say is that I sold my factory 348 Challenge 5 years ago. It's the only car that I've ever owned that I truly regretted selling. And I knew it the moment it was being loaded onto the car carrier to be taken away to its new owner. If the timing was right (and I had garage space), I'd consider your car.

    And to make this even harder . . . yellow really suits 348's, more so than 355's. Something about yellow just works with the strakes. I'm normally not a yellow car fan, but am when it comes to a 348tb

    How much do you have record wise from previous owners? Great car list on bat, that’s more of where you sale cars now. Just had a friends 360 stick go for 100k. It had nearly 50k and repaint from an accident.
