Looking for a leather repair specialist in Socal who has experience in repairing Connolly leather. Seat bolster wear specifically. Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you.

Searching this forum section should bring more than plenty of same old, same old "recommendations".

Most recommendations have been trimmers. I’m looking for someone to repair leather and there hasn’t been a solid/clear recommendation in the last few years.

Most Coachtrimmers, also referred as upholstery shops, especially those accustomed to work on Ferraris and other exotic should be familiar with leather repairs or replacements and therefor most or perhaps all previously offered recommendations will likely apply, although none may necessarily be something you or any other requestor will consider best or even any good.

I just fixed the bolster and trim on my driver seat myself (the trim was actually torn and the bolsters had cracks) using Leatherique products. Turned out real nice. You might want to try it yourself. Not that difficult.

Another sad thing about online recommendations is that those receiving any/some usually don't bother reporting any meaningful feedback on who they ended up using and why exactly (i.e. did they actually contacted more than one prospect, etc) or whether they were actually happy with the service and if not, why ?
