FCA - Hudson Valley Chapter

Thanks to all who attended and thanks to Croton Auto Park for opening the facility for us on Sunday, August 15. Perfect weather brought out about 30 cars from a 1961 250 GTE to a new Pista...and everything in between. Look for information about next month's gathering on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

 

Cavallinos e Caffe / Hudson Valley - Our next gathering will be on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 9 AM. We're returning to the Fishkill, NY location and are hoping to see you there. The location is at the McDonald's in front of the Home Depot at 450 Route 9, Fishkill, NY 12524. This site is just south of the Route 9/I-84 intersection and is the meeting place used for several Ferrari Club of America drives in the past. The plan is for this gathering to simply be an opportunity for us to get out, drive our cars and see each other. There will be no DJ, no trophies, no registrations, no program; just people and cars. Bring a folding chair if you wish. Food and gas are nearby. Rain cancels the event.

Thanks to everyone who showed up this morning (9-19-21) for the Cavallinos e Caffe. As noted above, the weather was perfect and the attendance great. Hope you all had a great time. And, as we said, nice to see the Alfa...because before there was Ferrari there was Alfa Romeo and before there was Alfa Romero, there was Fiat. Our next event will be the annual Fall Drive on Sunday, October 10, 2021, with a tour of the Taconic Distillery and dinner at Blue Fountain.

Thanks to all who attended the Hudson Valley Fall Drive on Sunday 10/10/21 to Taconic Distillery and Blue Fountain Restaurant. We're considering a November Cavallinos e Caffe for November but the unpredictable weather is always a concern. Next big event is the Holiday Party on December 18.

This morning (5/1/22) the Hudson Valley Chapter of the FCA-ESR held it's second monthly Cavallini e Caffe gathering at Eastdale on Rt 44 in Poughkeepsie, NY. This gathering takes place at 9 AM on the first Sunday of each month and we welcome all Ferraris to join. There are several cafes and opportunities for food at Eastdale and the several of the other shops open later in the morning. Here are a few photos from today - hope to see you there on June 5. This gathering takes place at 9 AM on the first Sunday of each month and we welcome all Ferraris and Italian cars to join. There are several cafes and opportunities for food and beverages at this locale. See photos above from the gathering Earlier this year.

The annual Hudson Valley Fall Drive is coming up on Sunday October 9, 2022. This is a Ferrari Club of America event and non-members are allowed to join as well. The drive will be from Wide World Ferrari to a winery in Wallkill, NY.

 

The next C&C for the Hudson Valley Chapter will be on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 9 AM - Cavalini e Caffe, Eastdale, Rt 44 in Poughkeepsie, NY (7 miles west of Rt 44 intersection with the Taconic State Parkway). This gathering takes place at 9 AM on the first Sunday of each month and we welcome all Ferraris and Italian cars to join. We've received a request from the local Corvette club to join us so there will be a variety of cars on hand. Remember, rain cancels.

The annual Holiday Party of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the FCA-ESR will be on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Emilio's in Harrison, NY. All are welcome, however, there is special pricing for FCA-ESR members. Additionally, we're asking all attendees to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots. Details and registration forms will be available at the C&C on November 6.
