Lamar throws into triple coverage...ughh
Hard enough to beat KC without giving them a pick six on the first drive That’s a big hole to dig for yourself
I agree. But. As long as owners are making bank, they could care less IMO. Jets have been doing the same in the swamps of Jersey for, what, close to 40 years now?!? T
Speaking of the Jets, man are they an embarrassment. I'm so glad I stopped rooting for them when they snuck away to Jersey. It'd be too aggravating to root for both them and the Mets! T
When they played in that little stadium, many times the visitors' fans outnumbered the Chargers fans, some of that was because the tickets to those games were cheaper for the visitors than they were in their own stadiums, so they would make the trip to the land of the sun.... hard to believe this is YEAR FIVE in LA. You also have to remember a ton of people have moved to LA from other states, they carry their loyalties with them, and the Cowboys trained in Oxnard. And for whatever reason, the hispanics seem to like the Cowboys and the Raiders more than any other teams.
I'm trying to figure out how so many teams can afford a whole bunch of good, expensive players, but the Jets cannot afford anyone. I cannot name anyone on their defense, or their kickers, and actually I cannot name anyone but that rookie QB whatshisname...
When I (we?) grew up watching football in the 70's and 80's, do any of you recall seeing anything even remotely close to the number of injuries we see today, in preseason, in practice and in games? I remember a very small handful of injuries, but nothing even close to what we have today.
https://www.nfl.com/news/impressive-cowboys-defense-a-difference-maker-in-win-over-chargers Good story by Jim Trotter on the Cowboys D. Let's how yesterday was not an exception moving forward. T
I read somewhere that Cowboys and Raiders have historically been the most popular teams in Mexico. So, maybe that partially explains their popularity in the Latino community. Training in Oxnard also helps, I would guess...T
It is a shame, I think if the guy (Wentz) could just play about 8-10 games and stay upright, his confidence would improve quite a bit. I don't like seeing anyone fall on their face.
I bet the Chicago Bears would give them Nick Foles for a couple of low to mid round picks and take over his salary . . . in a heartbeat.
