Funny how everyone is calling it a “replica” or “clone”. The VIN is indeed a real 2000 456M GTA: https://secure.carfax.com/creditCard.cfx?make=FERRARI&model=456 MGTA&year=2000&vin=ZFFWP50AXY0118453&numberOfRecords=73 It looks like $12k buys the entire car: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224613579580?hash=item344c033b3c:g:F9kAAOSw4NphRNCa Combine with the motor from this FF for maximum 456 restomodness: https://www.iaai.com/VehicleDetails?itemid=41266897&RowNumber=1&similarVehicleItemId=&isNext=&loadRecent=true I wouldn’t mind it with a torquey turbo Ferrari V8: https://www.copart.com/lot/50150241/2016-ferrari-california-t-ca-san-diego Or start with this much cleaner 2001: https://www.iaai.com/VehicleDetails?itemid=41138323&RowNumber=3&similarVehicleItemId=&isNext=&loadRecent=true Hopefully someone rebuilds it. It sure looks more salvagable than this one: https://www.copart.com/lot/54729581/1995-ferrari-456-gt-ca-sun-valley
I'm happy to report that this yellow Lexus swapped motor, carjacked and wrecked creature was not one of the two Giallos in my 456M register. According to the Carfax report, the VIN mapped to one of my completely unknown cars. So there are still two Giallos out in the wild, and this one eliminates one of the register's unknows! Tis an ill wind that blows no good!!
