I can't find a thread on this. Has anyone taken apart a modular wheel. I found something on YouTube where with a 2x4 they banged on the separate parts until they came apart. That seemed like a setup for a warped wheel. I'm ready to go wth my 9 spoke screw bits but I want to do it right.

I have done many older BBS wheels. Take your time and a little heat will be your friend

There is no truly easy way. But there will be banging and prying and some bad words. Each wheel will be different. Just takes time
Not really a diy for that just have to get in and do it.

I have done other brand 3 piece wheels. Undo all the screws and knock the wheel centre out if you need it out. (for painting?) There is usually a bead of sealant around the 2 rim halves, scrape it out. Bang a thin wedge down to split the rim halves if you need them apart. Sealant needs to be re-done to get the 2 rim halves air tight.

Modular on a 360 is a 2 pc wheel, it looks like 3 pc, but its not, its 2 pc, unscrew all the screws and rubber hammer to tap it IF needed.

the rim is one solid air tight pc, its a good design, made by BBS

Ah right, I've only played with 3-piece rims before. 2-piece even easier.

I am looking for one 9 point bolt that goes around the circumference if the facing wheel.

Sorry can't help. All the ones I've done were held together with allen head cap screws.
