I purchased it in 2005. I have gone to Pebble Beach , Quails lodge, Concorso and all the Auction previews every year for the last 13 years and certainly appreciate them. I just never got around to it.
Tony Nancy passed away prior to me acquiring the car. I used Tom Hilborn in Reseda back in the mid 200o's. He was the Factory Authorized place for Astons, Bentley and Rolls. He also did many cars for the Mullin Museum cars. But he moved to Florida and possibly retired. He did a Countach for me plus countless others and replicated the square perforations perfectly. Plus the stitching was exactly the same as the original. There used to be a place in the San Fernando Valley that he sourced from and they had original Roser leather and left over Connoly Hides with the correct smell prior to them closing in 2002. At the time the only company I was aware of that had the correct material and patterns was HVL. Im doing a 83 308 now and I'm using World Imports. GAHH, GAT are great for certain makes and models. I would be very hesitant to re-do a TR, Boxer ,and 400i's. since I have not seen a job that looks factory and not sue if you can get that smell and patina. Certain cars like 308,328,355 and the modern cars seem to be no problem. Unfortunately many cars from 1980's and 1990's have been re-dyed or are just too far gone. I have not used Luppi or Interni Auto Maieli. I have spoken both of them and I have seen some videos of O'Rourke Coach-trimmers and they all seem to do spectacular work.
Aww man, gorgeous work, but it should have stayed white on red. Looked great with the magnesium wheels too (vs the Borranis). But good luck with the sale! The work looks fantastic.
It's estimated at $8,980 to register an SF90 in Nevada! Basic Registration Fee $33 Governmental Services Tax $7158 Supplemental Gov. Services Tax $1789 Motor Safety Fee n/a Technology Fee Total Estimated Registration Fees $8980 This is on top of $43-55k in sales taxes...
Hi Brian, I agree about the wheels, it now has the original wheels on the car. As seen in the recent photos. As per the color, the white looked flat to me.
The $8980 is year 1, it will descend from that but probably only 300-500 less every subsequent year. My 2015 F12 is about $3k, I just renewed it for the first time. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is ridiculous. New Mexico was about $150 for two years and Tennessee is about the same, even with the "wheel tax". Plus in Tennessee they love veterans, so my DFC plates for the Mercedes were free and permanent.
Laker game floor seats around $7,500 for 1 game My neighbor and friend Yori has 2 floor seats and my old tenant has 4 of them. They sometimes do not even go. Chartering a plane from Van Nuys to Teterboro, or renting a 200 ft Boat for a week in Cap Ferrat maybe 1 mil. I have friend who flew one of his 2 G 650s to somewhere in Australia for the weekend with his 10 year old son to fish for 2 days, I asked him want does something like that cost and he told me I have no idea my accountant just pays for it. Most likely $350k
Prices have gone up with Kanye paying $57mil for a 3,600 sq ft house. Prices will re-set to square footage and location. tazandjan should not move to Malibu. https://www.dirt.com/gallery/entertainers/musicians/kanye-west-house-malibu-1203425371/
Yes, I used Tom Hilborn in Reseda, with material from Henk van Lith. I did not have to do the headliner or visors. Those are still original and in excellent shape. @ TTR, I should come visit you, I have heard you are quite knowledgeable about Daytona's.
