There’s a sentiment among the well heeled that modern hypercars are vulgar. Seeing some of the antics that accompany supercar ownership nowadays, it’s a difficult point to argue.
There isn’t a car in the current Ferrari lineup that, for the same money, I wouldn’t rather have a vintage Ferrari or many other Marques, for that matter.
Lot's of factors...Enzo's passing in '88 had everyone saying that a "308 is a $100K car" which took um.......fifty years to arrive (if now)!! The gas crisis, the first one.....
The Brass Era cars as recently as five years ago were going begging at auction, tastes change. It was interesting to watch Pebble Beach this year. Glad to se classics are still "classics" ....but the crowd says it all really....
