You won’t have this problem with Elite, and I would imagine with Topaz. As I said before, complete waste of money going for the Ferrari or Porsche Factory PPF options, leave to the PPF specialists. Elite are quite incredible how they do it, you really question if they have done it, but they will show you.

Thanks Guys, that’s really helpful, any preference between Topaz and Elite, know that Topaz is supposedly “self healing” not sure about Elite

Elite is self healing, but I’m still a bit dubious of these claims from all of them. It’s Elite for me, but Topaz is logistically better for you as your car is from HR OWEN. I’ve seen both companies services and Elite are a level up to me with regards to application and the invisibility. The kicker for me was another car dealer told me Horatio Pagani tried out 4 UK fitters, and endorsed Elite for Pagani Cars. Of course doesn’t mean Pagani owners can’t take their cars to any one else. Will depend on where you live as well, either North or South London, so that you can use their car washing detailing services after you have had your PPF’d. Anyway enough of my posts on this, I was just replying to your initial request about the factory option, which you should forget completely, either don’t have PPF or leave it to a PPF specialist after delivery.

Took it to the track again. This time, I changed tires from Cup2 to PS4S and car didn't like it.
Front showed understeer or in other words, front needed more grip.
It was fun though until I got the message saying Hot Pipe Error. Sent it to service and see what happens now :(
Pushed car too hard I guess. Oh and trunk open warning pops up when car is on the limit. Annoying but I ignored it. You can hear warning sound in the middle of the corner.
Overall, it is easy to drive fast. Fun car, fast and full of drama for 4wd :)

I didn't push when I brake for the fear of pads replacement.

I also wonder what you think of the change of tires in street driving. I think on the SF90 the Cup tires might really be needed. I think part of it is the stiffer sidewalls- but Im not sure.

I was happy with down grade until this trackday. Street use was totally fine. Ride is smooth and rain was no problem. But I will go for cup 2 next time though.

So far hot pipe error occurs when there isn’t sufficient cool down. I guess I need to do more cool down laps.

Massive understeer there. Deffo stick with the cup2… remember it’s got a good few kgs behind it that want to go straight on. You could also consider a change to the geometry to give stronger front end….maybe result in more lively back end though, but maybe that’s ok.

I guess it will be here Jan or Feb. Yes I have two houses and if I keep both then each will be in one and another houses.

I also have STO and gt3 on order so, I might not keep normal SF90. Too many cars…lol…

I know there is still esc going on up front. I can see second esc light flickering when sliding. I even asked factory if I can turn those off. There was no answer so no for sure lol
So without turning this front esc off, fronts will do whatever it is programed to do and numb the feedback while doing it lol.
You try to slide the car and rear slides and front gets numb and neutral and then suddenly front bites and car spins. Big no no for slide action
Angle is to narrow and slim.

By the way, I tried to slide the car when there is no juice left. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
This thing flies sliding and spitting smokes!!! Extra weight helps too

Sounds like you are really experiencing your SF90 as relatively few get the opportunity to do on track!
I remember originally you were not sure if you would ultimately enjoy this new kind of Ferrari and went with a 'simple' build specification. Did you order anything more ambitious with your second chance SF90? How about the Assetto Fiorano package? Much discussion of what you have to give up to choose this option.

Yes this time I ordered AF.
Spec is as usual. Nero daytona with silver wheel and red caliper.
Interior will be the same as normal one, zuccherro, and red stitching. This time I checked every carbons available, with even wiperblade area carbon.
Now I know how good this car drives, for this one, I know I will keep it long time so I ordered full on.

I didn’t gave up anything except, if one choose AF, there is not much thing to do left for interior.
Just seat color and even that, I chose racing seat. So stitching is not visible that much either. I went cheap with seat color and chose normal one :)

I was thinking of tailmade for this and 812 comp, but dealer told me not to. I am glad I didn’t, since more cars are coming and I have little money left in the end lol.

Nero Daytona is perfect it gives a more interesting tone to the color than plain Nero does. Definitely silver wheels for the contrast to. Hopefully you will see a difference to the handling with the AF package and those special Multimatic shocks.
The Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 back in 2014 was the first production car in North America to utilize those Multimatic shocks. Thank you for your detailed reply!

    Simple answer - “forever”

In all seriousness, my SF90 Stradale went 10R in the MODAS system and a VIN showed up not too long after ~March/early April. They rather quickly seem to assign a chassis with a VIN. Add an extra month to be safe on average to the build process if you have an Extracompanario color or any additional painted accents typically (those cars seem to move down the line slower). My car was built June/July, on the water in transport for all of August to the east coast of the US, disappointingly took a little over 5 weeks to get through Port/Customs/PDI, and just showed up at the dealership last Thursday (Oct 7th).

Geographic location dependent, supply chain disruptions, and port of entry efficiency - I usually ballpark 5 months.

Can’t wait to see your build.

    Thank you for the info.
Dealer said the car went into production and was getting painted, the build will be completed at the end of November (they estimate) with delivery most likely Jan 2022.
Really looking forward to seeing it myself.

My Spider is at Status 70, I should receive it in Jan 2022.
Much faster than I’ve originally anticipated which is great because I’ve placed the order (for the coupe, later changed to spider) back in 2019.
