One of my seals is deformed on its leading edge, so the door squeezes it against the car, rather than riding over it, when shutting. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to rectify it?
Hairdryer? Tape it beyond the correct position for a few months? Image Unavailable, Please Login

I know I had the same problem but it has not happened since a long time. I think I usually close the door more firmly than I used to. The higher the closing speed, the rubber is less likely to bend, I think. Maybe an airflow from inside the cabin just barely lifts the rubber enough to clear the door.

The seal literally slides out front to back or back to front. You can slide it out and work on it separated from the roof. It may require a replacement, but it's very easy to remove and replace. Here is a photo where I just slide mine out to show you. Cheers!
