355 Spider - Gated Six Speed getting raffled off for charity

Hi Everyone, this is a really good charity to where your money goes to the actual funding of research and not lining the pockets of founders, ect.

I am trying to help them sell tickets as they have only sold around 410-420 tickets which is well short of the goal. We essentially only have a month to sell roughly 1,000 tickets. Could you please help by purchasing a ticket and telling someone about it?

I am going to try calling all the dealers in the country to see if they could help in some way.

 

Bought a ticket. Lotteries are a loser's bet but seems like a good cause.

 

This is awesome ...I plan on buying 4 tickets. I agree lotteries and casinos are a sucker's bet....but with this you basically have a one in however many tickets are sold chance of winning.....plus a great cause.

 

I plan on buying 4 as well. I’ve only won a single raffle in my life so won’t hold my breath for a second time but great to hear the money goes where needed and the cause is great too.

 

Thank you all so much! We are getting some sales but nowhere near where we are needing to be to get on track. We received an email from a gentleman who suggested that we post on OldCarRaffle.com which is a site that I have never heard of but they say they get 40k hits a month. If it moves the needle I am all for it! I also want to provide a correction- the car hasn't been serviced yet but it will have a major done prior to delivery to the winner. I presume the charity doesn't want to spend the money on a major if they don't get enough tickets sold!

To those that have bought tickets- thank you very much for your kind generosity. I bought a ticket as well and I don't expect to win. I just want to see the money go to a good cause. Thanks again.

 

Just bought a ticket. Seems like a good cause and you can't win it unless you're in it.

 

$75k if you buy every ticket. Actually a pretty good deal to just buy all tickets and get it for $75k with charitable tax write off …a bargain for a gated 355.

Huh? 1000 tickets @ $250 = $250,000. So you are in for making a $180k donation on top of buying the car? I only get back maybe 25-30% on my charitable contributions so that would be the most expensive 355 on the market.

INRange would be correct, it would be $250k. However we have sold now a little over 700 tickets. I hope we can get to 1k by the end of the month. Thank you all again for your purchases!
