No idea on that. Someone in the US will have to answer that.

 

My GTS has a cuoio details around the top of the instrument cluster. Driving w non polarized glasses and they are noticeable but not horrible. Polarized and they are a non factor. I had on my SF and didn’t bother me so did the same on the GTS.

The insulated windshield does affect radar. Would need to position it over the area reserved for ez pass.
I also think it affects cell phone and WiFi signals but I have no data to support that

the same one, or another one? wow. you're not the first or even the second person that I have heard that from, such an impressive car!

 

I placed my deposit down and submitted my configuration sheet last week. I'm a single Ferrari owner (458 Spyder) that I purchased last year through a dealer with extended warranty. I left the dealership thinking that there is a 10% chance or less of actually getting an 812GTS. Initially they were reluctant to even take my deposit because they said it was probably a 0% chance but I spoke to another well known Ferrari rep and he said it was better than 0%...but not by much.

 

Well that sucks. Sorry to hear that. It might simply mean that when they look at their list, they don’t see much chance of you moving up. However, a lot can happen to the people above you. I secured my 765LT last year at the last minute. Nearly 8 months after the car was “sold out”, I received a call asking if I was still interested. Evidently, COVID caused enough people to drop out in front of me. Hang in there.

 

I have the same band around the instrument cluster in my 812 but in Grigio Chiaro and I find it very distracting. Would much prefer if it were Black but I suppose you just have to get used to it. A glaring ergonomic design flaw IMO.

 

Why dont you wear polarized glasses they will get rid of the glare

I hear that your order will be fulfilled by the factory if it is placed before the end of this year. Per FNA apparently. Have others heard that too?

 

no. not for allocations in the states. actually heard that production is slowing down due to shortages and that total number built will be less than initially planned. i just submitted my Competizione build and before hearing this I was considering trading in or selling the gts, but now... i don't know.

Hi all. Been a long time since I've been here. Just got a 10R on my 812GTS order and excited is an understatement . With all the supply chain issues in the world I'm not expecting the car anytime soon though. Looking forward to sharing the experience soon!

Ferrari Glasgow are a brand new dealership who may have an allocation. I do know that they have two specced cars coming in - Grigio Silverstone and Rosso Scuderia which were unsold as of last week.

Thanks, I gave my local dealer one last chance today who usually service my F12 after they had said no twice, they called Italy while I was there and hey presto.

They also said about doing an initial specification in the showroom and then go to the factory to meet the team there and finalise spec and add personalised touches.

This is my first new car previously bought a used F12 2 years ago. Is this normal? Does everyone get this opportunity does anyone know?

I don think everyone gets this opportunity, these are pretty hard to come by. Congratulations

 

Im just not sure that I see that happening..the Superfast, is not the F12, or the 599...its in a whole other stratosphere, better than the TDF as well IMHO.
