Yup! The 2012 QP is the year to have. The good years for the GT are 2013-2019. The 2019 has all the bells and whistles. Though I'm not to keen on the look of the 2019 front bumper.

I agree so much with you! Did you know there is a slight run of 2013 Gen V QPs? I argue that's the best - slightly different engine. About another 10HP. It only ran for like 3 months I think.

I've asked the boys over at M______life what the reason was - couldn't find anything.

Did not know that. Then the '12-'13 QP is what you wanna have. However stay FAR away from the F1 gearbox early cars. I have heard just the clutch is $17k because it's the same as out of a 599. Besides you still have the paddles with the ZF slush box.

The other thing that is great is, with some hi-flo cats and a tune the GT will put out around 485/hp+ and 400/tq+. I've ready that one of the race teams tuned the MC Trofeo to 500+hp, then tuned it back down because they didn't "need" that much power. BIG TIME bang for the buck the GT is.

Damn Ernie, you are truly the Yoda of 348s (" the force is strong in this one")! I would not have bought a 348 without the essential back up of Ferrarichat with it's collective knowledge base, about 80% of which is you. Congrats on the Maserati, but please hang around the 348 brotherhood for a while, you are a priceless asset!!

Earnie, when I got my first 348 I used so many of your guides to repair things. Such a pioneer and I am so grateful for that. I hope the next adventure is just as fun.
