the confusion caused between the next icona and laferrari successor is related to this mule > Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello everyone! The idea of a new iconic series inspired by the P4 or P3 based on the LaFerrari is not to be discarded. It could be released to celebrate the return to 24 Hours of Le Mans. While the eventual heir to the LaFerrari could be based on the car that will race in wec 2023. Or even better, they could transform wec cars into road cars. dreaming costs nothing...
I'd absolutely love a 330 P4 Icona, altough I can't imagine Mr. Glickenhaus being so happy with it. Only time will tell I assume...
Ferrari have said that their Le Mans car won't be related to a road car. Also, an Icona based on the Laferrari would be just be a rebodied LaFerrari, not a new hypecar.
Image Unavailable, Please Login why did he add pininfarina before ferrari all the time? wasn't the monza ferrari's in-house project? or it's just his nature adding pininfarina with ferrari.....
Looks to me like he's trying to bolster his "designer" credentials with misinformation in regards to the Ferrari projects, by linking-in Pininfarina. For me, that could backfire big time, because people "in the know", who are looking for a designer, would question his participation in those Ferrari projects, if he is not aware that they were Ferrari in-house projects, that had nothing to do with Pininfarina.
So if we make a recap for the new ICONA it gives this: - Code names F251. - Uses the V12 of the 812C. - No Hybrid. - Based on the Laferrari Aperta. - Inspired by the Ferrari 330 P4. - Will be presented at the Finali Mondiali 2021 in November. it might be necessary to make another thread.
Yes of course, but that's "Hearsay" are said by people who have been right in the past. I think it's safe to say that this will happen.
It's like the weather forecast... but a mid-engined sports car is very likely... in both cases (LaFerrari successor and Icona)

Thanks! It’s being discussed in the « next Icona » thread already: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/index.php?threads/2020-F40-Icona-%2E%2E%2EIts-Coming%2C-Get-Excited%21%21%21%21.595546/
Hey guys i have a question. is it true the news that the next Ferrari v12 will be turbo? Does anyone have any reliable news? thanks
Hi, I think a very reliable user said that the next V12 will not be turbo but NA (probably with an Electric system).
No one (apart from Ferrari themselves) really knows; it's all conjecture. One this is certain though, Ferrari ICE and abomination are mutually exclusive words.
viewpoints... for me a V12 with double turbo mounted on a Ferrari like the 812 does not exist. but as I said they are points of view
