Very very sad news! A fantastic Dutch enthusiast, always super friendly and incredibly enthusiastic. Longterm owner of 0120 A, a lovely 340 America Barchetta Touring, which Bart bought in 1975 from Joel E. Finn. Bart also used to own 2179 GT, a 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Scaglietti. Plus 312 B3 F1 1974 chassis #014 and naturally his 275 GTB/C Speciale #07271. Here's a pic showing 0120 A at Alwin Hietbrink's shop in 2014. May Bart RIP. Very sad news! I met Bart many years ago during the great historic Ferrari-/Maserati challenge. He was such a warm and charming character. And we always laughed about the history of his 250 SWB #2179GT when it was once owned by a hooker in Germany and we wondered how next owner Hartmut Ibing got in contact with her to buy the car...! Bart, wherever you are now - Godspeed!

Very sad news. I met Bart at Rétromobile in the mid 2000s and since then we used to spend some time together in Paris talking about Ferrari, Bugatti or Alfa Romeo. Always very charming, knowledgeable and generous. RIP.
