Previous owners swapped the center vent for a navigation system. I would like to return it to stock with a center vent. My indie found one for $1,250. Way more than I want to spend. Any ideas on how to source a center vent?

I have an extra rectangle vent I’d let go for reasonable price. Not sure if they are all the same but I suspect they are.

My mechanic is saying the center vent is different.

Awesome, I will check this out. I would like to spend only a few hundred dollars on this switch out. Of course, before labor!

    Thanks!

Any of the large US breakers (Slava/Ferrparts) is probably cheaper especially taking into account shipping. Just mail them the part number you need.

To replace the vent, though, you need to take the dash out. Check this forum for info. Not particularly difficult, but A LOT of work. And if you have the dash out, you might as well restore the leather which will be loose in certain points and shrunk. Nice Christmas job...

Not sure I want to go to that level of effort! My dashpad is in really good condition, helped by not having an airbag. Thanks!
