I saw you, but didn't know that was you!! Was heading out to The Bridge- i'll post some pics shortly!
A few pics of my 348 Challenge at The Bridge car show this past weekend, out in Bridgehampton, NY. The Bridge is a golf course on the site of the old Bridgehampton International race track. Very cool event! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few more pics of 348s and 355 from The Bridge. First 348 GT Competizione i've ever seen in person. And the ex-Laurence Stroll Tommy Hilfiger 355 Challenge car. Lots more pics on my Instagram account: @BerkeleyMotorsports Oops! The Vette snuck in there by mistake- but beautiful car! Need to bring a rally car there and carve out some track again! haha. Damn golf course killed the Bridge. Boooo. Looks great Jason.
Same guy that owned the track from the 1980s converted it and owns the golf course. The locals in the Hamptons pretty much forced him to shut it down with constant complaints about noise, and town officials restricting the noise per the neighbors complaining. Never understood how people that purchase a home next to something that pre-dates them can complain about it. Many features of the old track incorporated into the course and the facility. But yeah, it does suck that it happened, regardless of the reason.
Picking up an oil filter for my daily driver. A chilly day. Top.......always down. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep, the good old days when they glued cars together. Not like our current "Lego" cars that snap together.
A rocket in front of a rocket. At the NASA facility in southern Mississippi. Was going to Cruising the Coast but it was all seventy-somethings with hot rods and old MOPAR sleds. Cool dudes and devoted car guys I’m sure, but not my crowd. So I ended up at a casino in Biloxi. More seventy-somethings, but at least I’m up enough for a steak lunch and a tank of gas (and then some!). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Trimmed carpet to expose grill and speaker and added a trim ring! Instant sound quality improvement! Cost $15 for trim rings from Walmart! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have some in CAD to make out of aluminum at some point that fits along the edge of the door panel so you don't have to clearance the door panel to get them underneath. Consider grills with trim rings as it would look even cleaner. Also 6.5's sound much better. I have Kappas in mine. Quite good full sounding with a Sony 50W integrated amp head.
