I love a green 550. LHD and the dash (airbag) needs a little love. What a nice spec though. https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/12376655
Another unusual colour. Grigio Ingrid - this time in Germany. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1389255
They look like aftermarket stick ons to me. Suggesting the original owner knew what they were doing ordering without any uneccessary badges.
Last sale at Euro 96,000 in 2017. https://www.artcurial.com/en/lot-2000-ferrari-550-maranello-m1030-172

Mine is green and I love it. I appreciate that not everyone does but then it is my car and not for sale so I don't care. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't think that's paint, this car clearly needs the stickies sorting (look at the vents) and I think what you're seeing is a reflection in the breaking down coating. The car has a full green dash and steering wheel so that panel would also be trimmed to match. Nice car that needs a bit of love and it's LHD. There also seems scant information on the service history.
https://www.ferrarifl.com/inventory/pre-owned-2001-ferrari-550-maranello-rwd-2d-coupe-zffzs49a410123565 This seems a bit crazy. Ferrari LI listed it for $160k, then 2 weeks later transferred to Ferrari FL who relisted for $200k! Those 2 dealers are the same ownership btw.
That is interesting, will be fun to follow and see what it ends up transacting at. As the kids say….”it’s been a minute” since we have seen one on BaT so it felt like maybe demand has been temporarily met?….or perhaps those that have been willing to sell has dried up? if “willing seller” activity has dried up then maybe we will see a spike from those that have been watching on the buyer end but hadn’t acted yet and now have fewer choices/options.
Definitely no options out now. Looking at cargurus there are only 3 550 Maranello's up for sale in the entire country, all asking minimum $170k. The other 2 for sale are Barchetta's. They're also not collector level under 10k mile cars. I would assume collector's willing to pay top dollar are not going to be buying 20k mile + cars, and on the other side those looking for driver mile cars would not be willing to pay that premium.
