Is the F12 market hot right now? I’ve been shopping it for the last few months. Supply seems to be falling with prices rising accordingly. Or is this just following the trend of everything else?

I ended up picking up a ‘14 with 22,500 miles and a year left on the CPO power warranty for $215k. Seems like a bargain compared to the prices out there.

I have been watching. Compared to last year the prices are about 30k up for F12. The supply is now more compared to few months ago. For example there were about 20-25 F12 with low mileage on auto trader couple months ago and now it's about 40. You can also see that the cars are staying on the market for longer period of time. It seems that the market will self-correct soon. All car prices are inflated and don't make sense at this point. It reminds me of the housing market before the housing market crash in 2008

Funny you should ask. I spotted an F12 in Blu America/Cuoio back in Mar orig listed for $213k, then the dealer immediately raised the price to $217k. Couldn't negotiate an acceptable trade for my 430 Spider, so by the time I sold the 430, Ferrari Lake Forest had snapped it up from the dealer in FL and listed the same car for $245k. I did my best to pretend I really wanted a Tour de France Blue, but they probably saw me coming and the best I could manage 6 weeks after I originally spotted the car was $239, with 2 yr CPO & free delivery.

Yeah, I may have overpaid, but at the end of the day, I couldn't be happier.

I was looking at one on Hgreglux website and almost bought it if they were to put stock wheels on it but figured I’d wait a month till I got home from abroad. They’ve since sold it to a boutique dealer in Chicago who tacked on another $20k to the price. Was also looking at the 45k mile car at Tactical Fleet but they won’t budge on price and I’m not paying what they want for a car that is only eligible for extended warranty for another 8k miles.

I’m with ya Bruce, I probably over paid by $20k for a car with 22k miles. With the F12 and 812 probably being the last pure V12’s, I bet we get our money back in the end

I've had my eye on an F12 for sale in GA that's listed at $170k, but has 57k miles. Haven't taken the next step because it's the first F12 I've seen for sale with that high mileage so I have no gauge on what the covid premium is. The mileage doesn't bother me, just haven't made up my mind if it's much too overpriced for my piece of mind.

There was one for sale with 72k miles earlier this year (pre price increases) at $159,900 - not sure where it sold at.

I didn't concern myself over that, DCT issues can happen to any car at any point. Unless it's got some active faults they're not disclosing. As long as it's priced right I prefer higher mileage cars that have been properly maintained, typically would have all the bugs taken care of that would've gone wrong.

I bought my 2014 F12 in February of this year. 13000 miles and paid 218K. Included 2 year warranty. I felt like I got a fair deal.

If it was the silverstone/cuoio out of LV it was an exec's daily driver. IIRC he sold it around 64k miles. I know it was up again for sale in the past year.

    There's a red one around that was a rental here. I think it's red/black.

Everything seems to be going up. Trying to find an example at or under $225k seems impossible. No one is budging from their posted price. If anyone is aware of a grey/silver/white/blue car in that price range please point me in that direction. Thanks!

That’s why I jumped on the one that I did. Carbon was lacking on the interior but at $215k, it was the cheapest one out there by $15k. The next cheapest one I know of had 45k miles and no CPO. More than twice what mine has. I over paid by about $25k but who knows if prices will come down.

Regardless of whether you "get your money back" long term, life is short and you can't get time back. The time spent in one is priceless.

I traded my 991.2 GT3 for this …….wasn’t sure if it was the right move ….today I did a 200 mile back road drive through curvy roads……absolutely no regrets ……..

That’s a really interesting comment. I found the F12 to be the absolute best on long hauls and some twisty stuff. The power and noise is intoxicating.

The GT3’s do tight and fast twisty roads better IMO.

May the Horse be with you

Made a purchase last week. Silver 2015 with 13K miles. Paid a lot more than you. You timed it perfectly. Me not so much. And to your point I don't think prices are coming down any time soon. I inquired on one car and asked if the price was at all flexible. He basically said I was lucky that he wasn't raising the price on me. Needless to say I moved on.

Very different car but the F12 is much more useful. Great for road trips and also some curves.
