    Got my 458 in August, and I love it. In fact my wife prefers it over my Porsche 978 CarreraS.
    Question
    I noticed that with the top down, the cockpit gets warm/hot requiring air conditioning, even with cool outdoor temperature. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

    Had a great time seeing this car in person today (along with its owner and another San Diego poster jc1). They invited me to Cars and Coffee in Rancho Santa Fe and we managed to get a few spirited miles in, along with a photo shoot. We'll need to invite axlesofevil next time to compare Rosso Corsa and Rosso Scuderia. That Giallo Triplo Strato really glows in the sunshine:

    Hey Rob and Joey. I’m a little late to the party, but ditto - was awesome meeting you guys and the 458 at the same time.

    Other than my test drive and a short, slow ride home from the PPF shop, this was my first opportunity to really drive her, and wow! Put about 45 miles of bliss on her Saturday. Had a few opportunities to finally open her up and whip around some corners, and well, it was every bit as awesome as I hoped and more. Had my 10 year old with me and she had her hands in the air and screaming (for joy) like she was on a roller coaster. Was an amazing first experience with the 458.

    Joey and Rob were very kind to show me the ropes, and what a wonderful first picture for me to have driving it. Thank you and the missus for that, Joey.

    Just think what it must’ve looked like to passing traffic seeing a red, then yellow, then red 458 spider cruising together. I know if I saw that, my head would explode.

    Great times! Can’t wait to see you both again.

    Now…proof I was there. Lol.

    Definitely a good time. Thanks again to Joey for the invitation and leading the driving portion. I kept having people people get between us at stop signs, there was one Ford Minivan that really wanted to join in.

    As mentioned, if you have any problems between your capless gas tank and CA gas pumps, the solution I have used for the last year or so is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L35KRF2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It's $8, I keep it in the car and put it on the front of the gas nozzle for fill up and it is effortless.
