the biggest issue was finding something with a 25 inch diameter that could handle gravel and dirt roads. youre going to be hard pressed to find anything in the standard all terrain, or mud+snow section. i had to go with gravel rally tires. cant complain with the performance.
if your car is in good cosmetic order and/or low mileage, i would never suggest throwing these kinds of environments in front of her. mine is an 82, with miles, and some cosmetic blemishes. but ok mechanically, and so, i decided just to drive. and she's much more robust than many of us might imagine. the skid plates have held up well. and the only damage has been to the rear fiberglass section behind the tires. time for mudflaps methinks. You sir are a man with impeccable taste. Spotted Cow is my and my son's all-time favorite beer. Every time a family member ventures to Wisconsin they return with a case, or as much as they can transport in suitcases if by air, and then we only drink our precious Spotted Cows on special occasions.
Hey Mike, any advantages to the historic plate and emissions? What year qualifies the beginning of this plate? Great looking rims and set-up.
