Ferrari F8 Tributo

Well this is very interesting. I guess soon we will find out if there will be another V8. Or if the 296 is indeed the replacement. It’s hard to believe the F8 would be the last and with pricing of 296 and SF90 there could be a V8 above the 296 and below SF? Another discussion.. Can’t wait to find out

The 488 with its lag feels similar to my 991.2 Turbo S. The F8 feel is very different and there is almost no lag, very sharp handling and I love the new steering wheel. Will get my F8 in February, Rosso Corsa on black interior, regular five-spoke wheels, racing seats, carbon steering wheel.

 

Dealer told me today F8 orders stop end of this month.

Same for SF90 and 812 btw.

 

So the last model year for the F8 coupe would be 2022?

Lag…? Not at higher that 4K rpm getting on throttle…

 

Compared to F8 my feeling is different. I have owned quite a few different turbo charged cars in recent years.

 

Can't publish tat openly of course, the attornies/lawyers of F factory would put him in jale ...

Agree. I think there will be another V8. Or at least I hope. I am passing on 296.

 

No more V8’s outside of crazy expensive 4wd variants

 

There won’t be any more V8s. I have that info from a reliable Ferrari source. But even Porsche says they will be all electric by 2030

 

So, I believe there is zero chance of a non-hybrid V8 for any new rear-mid-engine model, ever again (not including off-road/Challenge cars).

The logic is this:

SF90 (and its successor) is the V8/turbo/hybrid with 1000HP+

296 (and its successor) is the V6/turbo/hybrid with 830HP+

...

a non-hybrid V8/turbo would be "under" the 296 in total power (so, maybe Portofino/Roma successors will have V8/turbo, maybe, but it seems their eventual successors will also be V6/turbo/hybrid)

 

Rolls-Royce just announced all electric by 2030. First all electric will be 2023 and called Spectre

what are the two reds - fiorano on top and corsa bottow?

 

Unfortunately, I think we have seen the last of the non hybrid V8 powerplant in the F8.

Yep heard this today from my dealers owner. Said if I want an F8 I need to get the order in this month.

Signed paperwork and placed my deposit yesterday. Hopefully I’ll get a car? This will be my 6th Ferrari but the first time I’m unsure of I will actually get a car. Lol.
Thinking a triple Layer red after my last 488 spider was triple Layer white and while insanely expensive the triple layer paints are unreal. That said given all the delays It could end up being Rosso Corsa or maybe I’ll just have to get a hybrid.

 

What button is pressed each time to turn off the start button each time please. Thanks
