    Finally decided to tackle the non working AC system in my Testarossa, was led to believe it was a simple blower issue. That was a complete sham

    Apparently the previous owner knew the entire system was ****ed, knew heater core was leaking and PINCHED IT CLOSED WITH A PAIR OF PLIERS to stop it from leaking.

    This known leak was damaging the wiring.

    Then did other shoddy crap

    To top it off he broke the blend motors pivot points trying to Mickey Mouse more ****.

    Need to replace just about everything in the AC/Heater system.

    Oh man ..sorry to hear ..

    I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if i did that to one of my cars.. even my 160k daily driver

    Spent a hour wiping a little oil that accidentally spilled from adding a quart in that same daily driver .. and still bothers me even after all clean

    I’ve chased multiple deferred/Mickey moused stuff on this car.

    Yes, if you've got liquid coolant leaking out that's a problem, but wanted to add that that "pliers fix" would also be a hack to keep the cabin from heating up if the +12V power to run the HVAC system is lost (like by a frazzled pin in the k connector) as the hot water valve defaults to open when the +12V power for the HVAC system is lost (and the blower motor wouldn't work either). Seems you have plenty to fix, but wanted to mention this as the blower itself may be OK.

    I know u been good. To be fair to him it was a used car as is… that being said he disappeared and imo misrepresented the car to you. I mean a daily driver in Florida without A/C he can only have known about it.
    Thank god you have super great skills to fix and the car will be super reliable now.

    Yup, broke the pivot pins and then tried to use cardboard to block the opening.......

    This is about a 5k fix with an experienced shop plus another 2k for other parts to replace that are rigged. Rigged stuff like this is just a shame. Best of luck getting her back right. I take it you are doing the work yourself. I just don't have the time anymore for these jobs so it goes to Micheal Luonga at the old Norwoods.

    Shamile. He has been a frequent user on these boards for many years and in my observation was thought well of for what that is worth.
    Lamborghini boards as well. He was a nice guy on these boards and then this. So sorry Jamie is having to deal with this. When he is finished the car
    will truly be right for him or the next guy.
