A few minutes ago, I was lost in my thoughts, walking back from the grocery store to my apartment, when suddenly a Grigio 812 GTS popped up, straight outta nowhere, top down. In my city of Massy, parisian suburbs, one chance in a million. I decided to not try to grab my phone, but instead to try to capture every single detail of it I already saw one in flesh, a red one parked in Paris, top up, sandwiched between to other cars, I couldn't really appreciate This time, in motion, top down, I was AMAZED how beautiful and balanced this car is. Like all Ferraris , it's so much wider and flatter in flesh than on pictures, something I genuinely adore When I first saw the pics of the GTS I complained about the size of the humps top down. My fellow frenchman Jacques (@JackCongo ) advised me to see them in flesh, and you were right my friend, there's nothing unpleasant about them in real. BTW, @italiafan , If I believe the cartoon avatar you made of yourself somewhere here, the driver was the perfect french version of you I haven't even emptied my bag yet, i HAD to say this here immediately after coming home ahah To all of you who own one, enjoy, those are strikingly beautiful machines !
A favorite exterior spec, no doubt at all. Deserves an interior in crema, tan, cuoio... some beautiful colour in the beige-brown range. Heritage Mahogany would be just perfect.
FYI I was at the dealer today. No more F8, F8 Spider or 812 GTS orders as of last Friday. They showed me the printout of the email.
Yeah my timing was pretty atrocious. I'd been there twice in the past month for test drives and waffled too long. So the plan as of today is to keep the F12 longer and add a rear engine sports series

Rosso Mugello, I almost feel like I let down the ferraristas by picking a red color when I see what others picked
Wonder why Ferrari is discontinuing the F8 V8 but continues to produce the lower performance Portofino M and the Roma. I guess the 296 will be the only performance option as I hear their will be no SF90 orders after December. Also since the 812GTS is no longer able to be ordered it looks like only limited editions like the Competizione and new Icona will have naturally aspirated V12’s. We all knew this was coming, it’s now here. Hopefully Ferrari will be able to continue to bring us fabulous cars as they have in the past during these changing times. Yes, I just double checked with my dealer that I will be getting the GTS, as I have a TM appointment for it. He then said if so wanted an SF90, we should talk, because those books will be closed soon as well. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I am sorry and where is the replacement of the F8 ? The 296 is a smaller car and probably not so desiderable for the actual F8 target consumers. Do you think that the 296 will take the place of the F8? Dimensions has also their appeal …not only the engine.
I almost went for Rosso Mugello, that looks absolutely lovely, a real nod back to the original cars (V12’s) of old….really really well done Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Here is my F12 in the same colour, I do get quite a few people every year, asking the colour. I went for more bling with my GTS, I am not sure if that will be a good or bad decision until it arrives spring time! You can see the heritage. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, was worried on how it would come out, sales person said i was the only one to chose that color in the whole dealership, but the pic looks really good, hopefully it is that nice when I see it in person. I like being simple and reserved, (as much as you can be with a Ferrari)
