Gorgeous!
Out on a wonderful fall day this weekend driving on some twisty and fun roads in northern California’s wine region (Napa/Sonoma). Ruben Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love your picture. They say age is just a number, but I rather say miles is just a number! Our milages are identical, and these cars loves miles.
Never thought I'd see a rosso paint I really liked on a Maranello; for me, rosso corsa is a bit too bold for the flawless lines of the Maranello. (forgive me Taz!) But this rosso is lovely
Thanks Seth… it’s Rosso Fiorano. Like you, I’ve never been a fan of Rosso Corsa on the 550 (hopefully not offending anyone), but Rosso Fiorano has wonderful depth and is (to my eyes) very complimentary to the beautiful lines of the 550. Here’s a better pic in broad sun light. Ruben Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't know how many 456 came in CdF. I do have 2 2003 456M cars in CdF defined in the register. I would generally think that the number of 456s would be equally low. Verde Zeltweg, Giallo Modena, Rosso Rubino, Blue NART, and CdF....all at the same Unicorn level.
We are so spoiled in NorCal and especially the Santa Cruz Mountains area for #twisties. Had a nice Sunday drive. Looking forward to the 31st and going on a group drive with @Il Tifoso & @losgatos789 should make for an epic photo opp! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Canna di Fucile on a 456GT is absolutely beautiful! I owned the twin of this car and sold it a few years ago… I miss it still - wonderful car. Ruben
CdF (FER 703C), gun metal gray, was a standard paint color on early 456s, but became optional (out of range paint) later. Very attractive color on 456s and Maranellos. The last US 575M (SN 141817) was CdF. Rare on all models, even when standard.
There was a photographer right at this corner by where I hopped out and took my photo above. he took a few more that I thought were pretty cool….. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great pics Eric! Curious, how did you connect with the photographer to get the pics? I’ve seen those guys out there on occasion. The car looks awesome! Hopefully they’ll be out again when we do our drive in a few weeks! Ruben
Sent you and Stu a DM on all the local stats — for everyone else I saw the cameraman and then circled back and asked if he was on Instagram and then DM’d him and then he released a link to photos without payment and asked for a “reasonable donation”.
Eric, the car is spectacular. Ferrari of this era take on a entirely new level of impressiveness when in motion.
