Schedoni lesson of the day

Bravo, for your beautiful book and the impressive Schedoni luggage collection.
But I am a bit puzzled....,17 pages and 425 posts in this thread and not a word about the ultrarare Ferrarissima #15 & #16 Schedoni leather bound books?

 

I like the way they numbered those books.

Very, very interesting video, Alberto! To be frank, I hadn't known that Ferrari used leather linings for their F1 seats before I saw your video.

And considering the costs involved in F1 racing even at that time, it's astonishing that the Scuderia tried to save money in regard to the seats. But Mauro Schedoni reacted wonderfully, thus lying the foundation for a great partnership.

 

Albert, your posts are excellent and admire your collection. I have set with “348” embossed under the cavallino. Another member mentioned the “348” was embossed on sets if one ordered the luggage with one's car. I have never seen another like it. It has later 355 style clasps and “Ferrari” on interior buckles.

I received my special edition today! What a beautifully done book, and the smell of the leather is just divine.

My copy is numbered #139. The year 2019 was the 139th year of the Schedoni company. I requested that number because it represents the year my Schedoni 612 Sessanta luggage was awarded the first ever Schedoni Excellence Award at the 2019 FCA Annual Experience.

We used the 6 piece set for our trip from Massachusetts to Arizona for the event. Simone told me his luggage, just like a Ferrari, is meant to be used!

In December, 2019, I had the honor of meeting Mauro Schedoni at the company’s facility. Meeting him and receiving a tour from Simone was an experience my wife and I will never forget.
