Thank you. It has been quite a journey. New driveway, garage flooring and doors, lifts and landscaping are going in next week. They have to figure out how to handle a curving driveway with almost a 100ft drop without letting my lowered Scuderia scrape! Had to laser map it. Finishing touches will be worth the wait. Mounting garage doors. First one takes a lot of time, the rest very fast Last pic. Window will be cut in this weekend. Did some templets with cardboard to see where they will be. Doors all mounted. Finally the garage is sealed. All 9 windows that will be mounted has a stainless frame so I'm wrapping them in white. Fits the overall look better (blue plastic cover on the glass) Still a lot of work to do but we're getting there! Well done! So many questions.... starting with tell us about the GTO, what's up with the bumpers on the C2, do you like your racing sim rig??? Congrats!
So of all the cars in the photos and video, the GTO is only one not mine. It's owner is a friend and client that wants to remain private so I will respect his request. It's in for a bit of work and will soon go back home, that's about all I can say. The C2 is currently being restored with a custom chassis, modern LS engine and drivetrain. I have to make some modifications to the chassis to mount the original bumpers so that is why they are currently off. My sim rig is ok, it helps me practice and learn the tracks I will go to with the challenge car. There are better ones out there but given the total investment on this one it works well.
Got the isolation in the walls and roof done yesterday. (All the green decals is where they made holes when squirt the material. Whenn they was done, Started right away with OSB material after. Any laser beams?? Just kidding. The garage looks awesome. I showed my wife and she said she liked it. Then she asked me where I was going to put all of my tools. I told her in the yard.
