Thought this would be easy. I want to move my brake pedal to the left as I have wide feet. Thought I would just unscrew and be done.

These screws are in there super tight. Afraid of breaking or stripping something. Confirming this is just a standard hex socket? Using a small socket wrench and it won't budge

Planning on replacing dead pedal me those screws unscrew easily.

They should be metric hex yes. I believe they are on with loctite if I'm not mistaken. You might want to use a heat gun or small torch and get a little heat into the mix

I ran into the same issue. Afraid of buggering up the hex bolts, I left them alone. I wear "special" shoes for when I want to drive the F car. One pair is made by Van's. The other is a pair of Bugatti brand leather sneakers that I purchased while on vacation in Germany quite a number of years ago. I normally wear DC Shoes (size 12) but they absolutely won't fit the pedals! Good luck!

I had mine off several times. Super easy. Hold the Allen hex (bolt) stationary while turning the hex nut on the back side.

When I added my Hill dead pedal, the bolts were cross threaded - I assume during assembly at factory. Just FYI and be aware.

You mean use your head? Duh.

What did you use for the bolt on right? Hard to manuver on that side of the pedal

    10mm socket on a 1/4” drive ratchet.
