Agree with everything, except the HP gains. At the track, the extra 80+ HP will make a difference (even to an advanced newbie or intermediate driver). The 430 has grown on me; if it were today, I would have gotten a 430 F1.

Am a lifelong stick driver, but I LOVE the F1 on my 360. Never had problems. Not interested in a manual conversion, even if free. No desire.

Nothing yet! Spent a couple of days driving around a few specialists looking at 430s earlier in the week and have got them keeping an eye out for cars for me.

Aldous at AV Engineering was very helpful too.

I wanted a Ferrari for a long time, and I was looking and almost bought a 360 modena manual... was comparing with an F1 F430... but when I showed my wife the 2 cars I was looking at, she said about the 360: "that looks much older, buy the newer one" :) The rest is history ....
No disrespect or anything about 360 owners.. I like that car a lot.

Update: I went with the "something else" option and bought a Stradale.

Amazing, That pretty much how I would have spec-ed it if I ordered one new. 360s do look old in flat colors such as yellow or red. But look fantastic in metallic. Love stradale's with the stripe delete.

Very very nice indeed... but I do love stripes. Loved them on my Shelby GT350R, loved them on my GT500, and I like the Scuderia stripes on my F430 although it's not a Scuderia :)

Thanks guys, I'm very happy with it.

I think the stripe 'should' be there on red cars but I much prefer the non-red cars without. Personal preference, of course.

Like the wheels. I was going to get them repainted in silver before collecting the car but actually I think they look ok in the flesh. Jury's still out on that one.

    GT or AN?

I agree on color. They look more contemporary In those colors.

More pictures. Amazing stealth CS. Well played, sir.

If you can handle the increased price, you might consider a 458. There is no substitute for that DCT.

If I were you I would not paint. I have a argento Nurburgring 360 with the starfish wheels. The wheels are nearly exactly car color if not the same. I wish they came factory a couple of shades darker for contrast.

Thanks Ray, I did consider a 458. I spent a day driving one when they were new and thought it was amazing. However when it came to spending that much money I had to have a CS really. Especially when this non-red one came up.

Right, it's AN. I've seen a few AN CSes with silver wheels and I like it, but I think I'll leave these their current shade for now. I have considered buying a second set of wheels so I can experiment with different tyres, so having a second set in silver is a possibility if I can find a set at a reasonable cost.

    You are an analog guy.

I think Ferrari in Argento just look the part, especially the mid engine ones.

I bet the CS must be waking up your senses at every drive. I have a “blue collar” sister of yours. The sound and the cracking it makes (I have a challenge stradale exhaust) during shifts is just so real. As in, no fake electronics doing it like in modern AMGs or M cars.

Congrats again! The combustion engine is dead. Long live the combustion engine!

Managed to get a day out in it before the rain returned to the UK this week. A wonderful drive to a favourite village for coffee and cake, before a ridiculous drive home thanks to my sat nav app (screw you, Waze) taking me down some impossibly narrow single track roads…

Anyway here’s a photo for those who wanted more pics, it makes the car look ridiculously small :)

On some twisty A roads this thing is so much fun!
