Not Felber. Not at all. A modified Michelotti. Just look at badge on body flanks and compare with the other Daytona Spiders Michelotti rebodied. Marcel Massini
I also guessed Felber wrongly when a friend at that concours sent me a photo... but then he sent one of the sign in front of it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
On en pense quoi? Moi ca me fait de la peine de savoir qu'une Daytona a ete sacrificee pour ce resultat.
Andrew You should know that five Daytonas (including one genuine Daytona Spider!) were converted/customised/rebodied/upgraded/downgraded etc. by Michelotti. 14299, 14897, 15003, 15965, 16467. Marcel Massini
Well supposedly this one had been crashed, Chinetti had a lot of crashed cars rebodied back then...une autre epoque...
This car passed me on the street some 30 years ago. I just caught a glimpse of it as it went by, I first thought that it was a TVR on Borrani wheels until I heard the exhaust . . . As I recall it had a reconstructed title, crashed and rebodied.

and all are leaking oil as I see on the white paper under the engine. I wonder very much, because it is no magic to get a non leaking old ferrari. never use synthetic oil. use 15/40, 20/40, 15/50 or 20/50 or even 20/60 and when you rebuilt the engine you may paint the inside with a heat- and oilresistent paint or coating
Agree! As long as leakdown numbers aren’t horrible and compression is OK, it’s way less expensive to add oil often than perform a rebuild. Maybe not great for the environment, but then again, we are driving cars without catalytic converters or smog controls and getting, relatively speaking compared to newer cars, ridiculously bad gas mileage. I do so love vintage automobiles!!
