Several of my friends swear by it when they travel as they like to rent MB or BMW.

 

Sounds like you are in a pickle. I may be up to loan you my wife's dd, a 4-door sedan. I'd meet you at the airport and you would drive me back to my home 25 miles south. When done, drive back to my house and I'll take you back to the airport.

 

You are quite welcome, glad you found some wheels. After your trip, you'll probably wish you had taken me up . I NEVER liked flying into PDX and getting a car. You walk and walk and walk until you get to the rental car bus and then take what seems like a two hour ride to the terminal to get your car. Rinse and repeat when you get back! PHX is building a rail car to the rental car center but I'm not sure when that will be completed.

For S&G's, I looked at National for that date. No cars. I looked at Budget and they are asking $250 a day for a compact! YIKES!!! Hope your 'great price' was less than $200 a day!

One thing is that I'm doing my best to be as welcoming as I can here in AZ, especially to FCHAT brothers. I've been blessed with landing in such a great state.
