    Alex,

Can you clarify which wheels you are asking about? The 575 wheels are 2pc and the barrel is one piece solid so no gasket there. The 550 wheels are put back together with a resin like material.

Alex: Mathew is referring to the 2 piece modulars which are made by BBS.
Yours are Speedline 3 piece Modulars.
James Dorociak knows more about rebuilding Speedlines than anyone.
He knows specifically which finish your bolts should be in order for them to keep the O.E. look.
Lots of chrome versions out there but they are not the correct spec.
The gaskets on mine are rubber. Reach out to him and he’ll give you the guidance you are looking for.

No, he was referring to the two piece 575M wheels where you do not need an airtight seal, which are constructed differently from the 550 wheels, where you do need an airtight seal. Except of course, for Chris' reproduction 575M wheels, which are constructed like the 550 wheels.

Thanks for all the reply’s. The Speedline(the ones I have) do require a gasket. Spoke to Jim and he is shipping the gasket to me. So I am on my way to making these great again .
