Great post and on the money ... was the same story for Ferrari, McLaren and Williams when they were on top but Ferrari is the only team I like seeing have that advantage
He did say he was promoting a book and an album. Why that involved Bernie sticking by his side is beyond me unless that was the kind of stuff Bernie did for celebrities. Shaq was also fresh off his 2nd championship, though so maybe Bernie liked having that kind of exposure?
…and there’s that lol. My daughters like her music so I try to refrain from saying too much. Obviously, I’m not a fan. Still, the scene yesterday was quite unnecessary,
Cash App is largely preferred by strippers and prostitutes....she's right on target audience!!! My Hooters waitress ex fiancé took Paypal...her bestie I am dating now, works in a Strip Club, she's a Cash App girl.... See you in Owner's Forum for the rest......
Sorry I could not blog with you all in real time...the Oak Tree #20 in RV Parking had no power outlet. And despite the token gesture of Cell On Wheels (COW) trailers, cell service was almost non existent!!! Lots of things at COTA are "showing their age"....IMO
If I had kids, or when I will have kids, rap and all that hip hop garbage would be strictly forbidden.
Hopefully Miami brings in their cheerleaders on the F1 grid. IF Vegas, then their cheerleaders as well. It's better than nothing.
intentional or not, that was one of the best pieces of viral marketing I've seen in racing in a long time
Brundle review - https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/12444857/martin-brundle-on-us-gp-max-verstappen-vs-lewis-hamilton-and-why-latest-f1-duel-may-be-defining Martin seems less upset than some here about the gridwalk. Keeps it all in perspective -- --I did chuckle on Monday. After all the blood, sweat, tears and broken bones, the glorious victories and dismal failures, the monstrous crashes, the quadruple stints on a treacherous rainy night in Le Mans, guiding a 1250 bhp flying bedsted through Monaco qualifying, along with 25 years of broadcasting, I've finally become mildly well known for being ignored by celebrities whilst simultaneously being swatted to one side by a man mountain and told off by a Malfoy lookalike doubtless attending his first F1 race. My gridwalk return after two years was probably a bit too cheeky in Austin but nonetheless a lot of fun.--
of course. it's a TV ratings driven spectator sport. I'm not sure if the MTS/Brundle thing was kayfabe or legit, but either way it was a viral smash hit. it got a ton of attention from dedicated, casual and non-fans on both sides of the Atlantic. if it was intentional, whoever came up with that needs a raise.
He is being told and knows who is on the grid himself. He is quite open and talkative if you ever meet him. I have had nice chats with him on some occasions. I think his spontaneous and open nature drives the gridwalk.
